With the popularity of Painting With Pat growing each day, people have been asking the questions, what is 'Painting With Pat'? And who is 'Pat'? I'm writing this post to let people know that Pat is a real person with a big heart, a passionate conservationist and gifted wildlife artist who believes in promoting environmentalism by sharing her excitement about the natural world through art rather than lecturing to people. Pat and her sister, Donna, a like-minded talented artist and wildlife conservationist, established, 'Sinking Creek Studios' where they both taught multi-media art classes with wildlife and nature as the subjects, inspiring out-door activity, which later became, Painting With Pat, Inc. founded in 2005, by Pat and Donna, as a unique non profit art organization created to 'Connect kids and adults world wide to nature and wildlife through the 'ARTS'. The 'One-Of-A-Kind Art Organization with a 'Wildlife Twist', the ultimate up-close wildlife art adventure was launched on the web in 2007! Painting With Pat engage children in art projects that makes them aware of wildlife conservation and endangered species the world over which in-turn give the children a 'voice' through their artwork to make their family, friends and community more active and aware of wildlife conservation and endangered species. This year Painting With Pat has earned the title, 'The Wildest Art Organization on the 'Planet' from the kids who lives were touched by Pat and also this year, 2011, Painting With Pat was honored by the recognition of the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors Worldwide for our work with tiger conservation!
